Nash Finch Launches Informal Inquiry on Promotional Allowances
MINNEAPOLIS - Food retailer and distributor Nash Finch Co. said on Friday it had postponed releasing its third-quarter results because of an "informal inquiry" about promotional allowances provided to vendors, which is the subject of a Securities and Exchange Commission review.
The company said it expects to release its quarterly results on Nov. 18, adding that it does not know the effect, if any, that the review will have on previously reported results.
