NAFEM President-Elect John McDonough Resigns

CHICAGO -- North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers president-elect John McDonough yesterday resigned as an officer of the trade association to focus on his increased responsibilities as president of ITW Food Equipment Group.

"The demands of my role as president of ITW Food Equipment Group make it clear that this decision is in the best interests of both my employer and the association," said in a letter to association members."

Over the last four years McDonough served at NAFEM first as secretary/treasurer, and most recently as president-elect. McDonough served on NAFEM's finance committee; its executive committee; and its Customer Advisory Task Force, and is a trustee of the Foodservice Equipment Distributors Association (FEDA) Educational Foundation.

He said he still plans to remain active in NAFEM, however. "These are exciting times for our industry in general and for the ITW Food Equipment Group brands in particular."
