Monoprix Extends License for Price/Promotion Optimization Software

Monoprix, a top urban French retailer jointly owned by Groupe Galeries Lafayette and Groupe Casino, with banners including Monoprix and Monop, extended its license for its existing price aqnd promotion optimization solution to include a wide range of new SKUs.

The retailer is using DemandTec's Everyday Price Management and Everyday Price Optimization software services. Initially, Monoprix subscribed to DemandTec's price management and optimization software, deploying the software-as-a-service solution to strengthen its pricing process. It renewed its partnership with DemandTec to address inflation and increased competition. As a result of the renewal, DemandTec's software solutions will be implemented in several additional product categories before the end of 2008, and it will be used to optimize prices for thousands of additional Monoprix SKUs.
