Meijer Upgrading Checkouts With NCR Point-of-Sale Technology
ATLANTA -- Meijer, the Midwest's leading supercenter retailer, is installing NCR retail point-of-sale (POS) technology at 29 store locations.
Meijer has ordered the NCR RealPOS 80 terminal, which was introduced earlier this year, and is upgrading to version 6.0 of NCR's Advanced Checkout Solution (ACS) software. The new NCR terminals are currently installed in 14 Meijer stores, and the remaining 15 locations are scheduled for rollout by August.
