Meijer, IBT Extend In-Store Financial Services Agreement
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Meijer Inc. based here and Atlanta-based IBT Enterprises, LLC have extended an exclusive partnership to identify financial institutions for in-store locations for a second time and for an additional three years.
IBT has served as Meijer's exclusive provider of financial institutions as in-store retail partners since 2005. Under the extended agreement, which lasts through fall of 2010, IBT will retain the exclusive rights to market, design and construct in-store retail space for financial service providers. IBT will also continue to provide Meijer with other retail and service providers in a variety of industries.
Meijer operates 181 grocery and general merchandise supercenters throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. Locations that currently feature in-store financial facilities are operated by Flagstar Bank, Chase Bank, Consumers Credit, Team One Credit Union, CASE Credit Union and Meijer Credit Union.
