Meijer, Giant/Carlisle, bigg's Spur Record '06 Sales for Healthnotes

PORTLAND, Ore -- Healthnotes, Inc. here said key retailer partners including Meijer, Giant Food Stores, Inc. (Carlisle, Pa.), and Supervalu's bigg's division, had a big hand in helping the kiosk-based marketing program provider achieve record sales and revenue for its fiscal year ended December 31, 2006.

At Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Meijer, Healthnotes was part of a highly successful department-wide remodel; while at Giant, Healthnotes was included in the widely recognized Shopping Solutions program, the vendor said. Supervalu's bigg's division was another standout retailer for the company.

Said Steve Kaczynski, president of the Cincinnati-based bigg's: "By placing Healthnotes kiosks in our stores and integrating their content on our website, we are providing a comprehensive program that our customers value while growing sales in nearly all healthy living categories and strengthening our position as a leader in wellness."

Projecting significant growth during 2007 and 2008, Healthnotes said it maintained over a 97 percent renewal rate in its core retail market and grew relationships with key customers, including The Kroger Co., Raley's, and Wild Oats Markets.
