Meijer Adds In-store Clinics
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Meijer Inc. here is building its portfolio of in-store health care clinics, adding the third and fourth such units inside of its Rochester Hills and Northville, Mich.
The new sites are Early Solutions Clinics (ESC), a third-party clinic operator that is already working with Meijer at other locations in Southeast Michigan.
With basic visits starting at $49, the clinics offer basic healthcare services, as well as the ability to provide early diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, asthma, and obesity.
Taylor, Mich.-based ESC is currently operating in Meijer stores at two other locations in Burton and Taylor, Mich. Early Solutions opened these first two clinics in January of 2006. More locations are in the works to open in Meijer stores throughout Southeast Mich.
