Martin’s Opens 7 More Union First Market Bank Branches
Martin’s Food Markets has added seven more in-store bank branches of the Union First Market Bank at locations in Virginia, bringing its total number of branches operated by the bank to 29.
“Union is uniquely positioned to grow, and is the only community bank with operations in Virginia’s top seven banking markets,” noted G. William Beale, CEO of Richmond, Va.-based Union First Market Bankshares Corp., the holding company for Union First Market Bank, which operates 99 branches and more than 160 ATMs throughout the state. “We are committed to keeping the cost of banking low while providing our customers with a superior selection of products and services.”
The new Martin’s branches have created more than 30 new jobs and are located within stores in Winchester, Waynesboro, Stephens City, Harrisonburg, Staunton and Culpeper.
Union First Market Bank will hold grand-opening celebrations at the new branch locations on Saturday, July 16. The events will include refreshments, giveaways and a drawing to win a $500 shopping spree at Martin’s, a banner of Ahold USA.
