Market Street Launches ‘Free Fuel’ Promo

After recently reducing gas prices by 20 cents per gallon and giving away free drinks and coupons on March 7, Coppell, Texas-based Market Street is taking fuel promotions one step further by offering Dallas-Fort Worth residents “Free Fuel” for six weeks.

Under the program, shoppers will earn 10 cents off every gallon of gas at A Taste of Market Street’s fuel station for every $25 they spend while shopping inside the Coppell-Lewisville store. “After seeing how many people participated in our last fuel promotion and hearing about how much the additional savings helped, we wanted to help Market Street guests save big while offering more relief at the pump,” said Curtis Comer, store director. “We want the smile our guests received inside the store to carry over to the fuel station at A Taste of Market Street.”

Shoppers who spend $150 in a one-week period between March 25 and May 5 will have the opportunity to save 60 cents per gallon at the pump, or just about $11 per fill-up.

A Taste of Market Street is a mini version of Market Street found within the confines of the parking lot and designed for quick access and convenience, complete with fuel station, bakery, gourmet meals to go, fresh produce and many other items that can be found inside the main store. The location features a quick and easy drive-thru window.

The Coppell-Lewisville location opened in January and is one of five Market Street stores in the DFW area operated by United Supermarkets, LLC. The first opened in Colleyville in 2003, followed by McKinney in early 2004. In the past 14 months, others have opened in Frisco and Allen, and a sixth location is due to open April 1 in Plano.

United Supermarkets, LLC, operates 49 stores in north and west Texas under three distinct formats: United Supermarkets, Market Street, and Amigos United.
