Mann’s Helps Make Summer Slaw Sales Sizzle
Shoppers are going to be heating up the grill, buttering the corn on the cob and whipping up their favorite summer coleslaw salads, thanks to help from Mann Packing’s Annual Summer Slaw Spectacular.
Beginning June 18, over 250,000 $1 IRCs will be applied to Mann’s Broccoli Cole Slaw and Rainbow Salad products. Consumers will save $1 with the purchase of any two of these items, through Dec. 31.
“This is one of our most successful promotions historically, with a more than 17 percent redemption rate last year,” said Lorri Koster, marketing VP at Salinas, Calif.-based Mann. “Given the economy we’re happy to be offering a savings to shoppers again this year. It’s Mann’s stimulus package to get people cooking.”
Retailers can leverage the offer to create secondary displays, build barbecue meal-themed ads and create excitement overall in the produce department.
