Lunds Sets Up for Perishables Category Management Strategy
MINNEAPOLIS - Lund Food Holdings, Inc. here has inked a new information sharing agreement with The Perishables Group that will provide the retailer's stores with a perishables department category development program.
The agreement will enable Lunds and Byerly's and its supplier partners to gain new insights into category performance across the core perishables departments, beginning with produce, said The Perishables Group.
The new supplier partnership program will further allow Lunds and Byerly's to monitor performance versus the competition, and execute analysis using perishables department data from The Nielsen Co., The Perishables Group said.
