Lucky’s Market to Open 1st Wyoming Store

Community-based independent Lucky’s Market plans to open its first Wyoming location early next year in the mountain town of Jackson Hole.

“We are excited to bring reasonably priced healthy foods to Jackson Hole with a fresh way of doing things,” said Bo Sharon, who founded Lucky’s with his wife, Trish. “As hardcore foodies and trained culinary professionals, we picture our stores as a beacon of health, support and kindness. We plan to be a terrific neighbor and an integral piece of the community with a purpose greater than just selling food. We’re looking forward to giving our neighbors in the Wyoming area a new taste and experience to bring home to their kitchens.”

The Boulder, Colo.-based grocer was created by the Sharons, who shared a vision of creating a grocery store where food lovers like themselves would want to shop, with quality products sold at affordable prices with personal service. In 2014, the grocer has expanded to Columbia, Mo.; Billings, Mont.; and Louisville, Ky., and also has locations in Longmont, Colo., and Columbus, Ohio, as well as its original Boulder store.

Jackson Hole shoppers will find house-made deli items, in-house cured and smoked bacon, local produce, fresh meats and seafood and a bakery at the new store, which will also include a juice bar and a beer and wine section. Free wellness activities and store “walkabouts” (for gluten-free and other food categories) are additional Lucky's features. The approximately 11,500-square-foot Jackson Hole store will employ about 100 people.
