Lowe's Joins Blackhawk’s Gift Card Mall
Blackhawk Network, a provider of prepaid and financial payments products for consumers and businesses, said that Lowe's has joined the company’s Gift Card Mall. Shoppers can now buy gift cards from the Mooresville, N.C.-based home improvement retailer in U.S. grocery store locations carrying the Gift Card Mall brand.
Through the deal with Blackhawk, a subsidiary of Pleasanton, Calif.-based Safeway, Lowe's will be able to reach more consumers by offering them the convenience of buying gift cards as presents for others or for their own use.
“Lowe’s gift cards will give our loyal customers the flexibility in giving the gift of home improvement for wedding, house warming and everyday occasions,” noted David Tate, general manager gift cards at Blackhawk Network, which has offices in the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Mexico and the United Kingdom. “By giving a Lowe's gift card, consumers can empower the recipient to purchase what they want, when they want it.”
Now reaching 165 million consumers annually, Gift Card Mall provides a wide array of popular prepaid gift cards, including entertainment, fashion, telecom and sports brands.
