Loblaw Atlantic Rolls Out ‘Just Lower Prices’ Program

Loblaw banners Atlantic Superstore and Atlantic SuperValu stores in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, as well as the company’s Dominion locations in Newfoundland and Labrador, this week launched the Canadian retailer’s “Just Lower Prices” initiative.

In addition to prominent in-store messaging with the distinctive “Just Lower Prices” symbol, the program, which enables customers to save on thousands of items, is also supported by an aggressive advertising campaign encompassing circulars and locally produced television and radio spots.

“Shopping for our families and getting the best value has never been more important, given today’s economy,” says Phil McNeill, VP Atlantic Market at Brampton, Ontario-based Loblaw Cos., Ltd. “To us, that means providing the same broad selection and high-quality service our customers know and trust, combined with low pricing on thousands of items. By simplifying our message to ‘Just Lower Prices,’ the savings will be clearly marked on shelf and easy to find in-store.”

Prices will vary from store to store and are subject to change.

Loblaw, a subsidiary of George Weston Ltd., operates more than 1,000 corporate and franchised stores across Canada, and employs over 139,000 full-time and part-time employees.
