Lipari Foods Buys Soderholm Wholesale Foods

Lipari Foods, a Midwestern food distributor based in Warren, Mich., is acquiring Soderholm Wholesale Foods. The acquisition will expand the number of products available to Soderholm customers in Wisconsin and northern Illinois while expanding Lipari’s offerings in the natural, organic, vegetarian and gluten-free categories.

Sun Prairie, Wis.-based Soderholm’s specialty product line, which includes brands such as OMG! It’s Gluten Free, GT’s Kombucha, The Fillo Factory, Alo Drink, Tofutti and Yancey’s Fancy, complements Lipari’s current portfolio, and contributes to the distributor’s aim to become the market leader in the perimeter store and specialty departments.
