Limited-edition Bouquet Blooms at Ahold USA Banners
Smile Train, the world’s largest cleft lip and cleft palate charity, and The Queen's Flowers, an importer and distributor of a wide assortment of fresh-cut flowers, have joined forces on a limited-edition Smile Train bouquet to be sold at more than 750 Stop & Shop, Giant Food, Giant Food Stores and Martin’s Food Markets locations from Aug. 26 through Sept. 29. $1 of every bouquet purchased at the Ahold USA divisions’ stores will go to Smile Train.
“Because of partnerships like this with The Queens Flowers, we can continue to do the life-changing work we do all over the world and provide children with a second chance at life,” said Priscilla Ma, executive director of New York-based Smile Train, which provides free cleft lip and cleft palate surgery to children from poor families.
“Our flowers bring smiles to consumers' daily lives, and partnering with an organization that brings smiles to so many children around the world who weren't smiling, is something our company is extremely proud of," added Herbert Jordan, president of The Queens Flowers, a Miami-based company that produces more than 850 million stems annually.
