Lawson Signs Multi-Million-Dollar Deal With Pathmark Stores
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Lawson Software, Inc. today announced that Pathmark Stores has signed a long-term contract for Lawson's Retail Enterprise Solution, including Retail Operations, Smart Notification, and Enterprise Performance Management. Pathmark will use the Lawson solution to create a single framework that will support merchandising, streamline pricing and new items, and provide users with an exception-based management system.

Pathmark operates in the densely populated New York-New Jersey and Philadelphia metropolitan areas that represent approximately 10 percent of the U.S. population. Lawson Retail Enterprise was developed specifically for high-volume retailers to improve net profitability by helping them to increase revenues, reduce costs, and more effectively deploy their workforce.
