Latest Whole Foods Unit Corrals Full Line of Dakota Organic Beef

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Dakota Beef's complete line of certified organic products debuted at the newest Whole Foods store here, in what the vendor's executives said was a milestone in its history.

"A key goal of our company is to deliver fresh, certified organic beef products to consumers on a national level in leading stores like Whole Foods," said Scott Lively, president and c.e.o. "This is further proof that Dakota Beef is on the right track to satisfy the growing demand for organic foods."

Dakota Beef's certified organic steaks and roasts are available at the butcher's counter, while its new Organic All Beef Hot Dog is in the refrigerated section of the deli case.

The company will offer samples Sept. 16-18, as part of the grand opening festivities for Whole Foods' Columbus store, Whole Foods' first in the state of Ohio, and the chain's second largest, at 75,000 square feet.
