Last Call for 2011 Top Women in Grocery Candidates

Progressive Grocer is still accepting entries for its fifth annual Top Women in Grocery awards competition, which recognizes women from all levels of the industry from both the retailer and supplier communities in three categories as follows:

1.) Senior Level Executives (retailers, suppliers and wholesalers)
2.) Rising Stars (retailers, suppliers and wholesalers with job titles above store managers but below VP)
3.) Store Managers (retailers only)

All Top Women in Grocery winners will be recognized in the June 2011 issue of Progressive Grocer, and will also be honored at its annual Corporate Social Responsibility Awards event that will take place in late 2011.

Entry deadline has been extended to March 15, 2011.

Through its Top Women in Grocery awards program, PG has taken a leadership role in recognizing the critical role women play in the dynamic and vital food industry. As in years past, PG will salute the industry’s foremost female movers and shakers who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and wielded substantial influence in their companies and their stores during the previous year, and who are also deeply involved in their communities and related philanthropic activities.
