Land O’Frost Launches ‘Mad Money Mondays’

Well aware that many consumers look upon the start of the workweek with dread, Land O’Frost, the third-largest U.S. lunchmeat brand has introduced “Mad Money Mondays” to excite and reward its fans.

Specially marked packages of the Lansing, Ill.-based brand’s lunchmeats will feature Mad Money Mondays game pieces that could be worth up to $1,000 in cash. Consumers can enter by visiting www.LandOMoms.com and typing in the code on their game piece all week long. Every Monday for 10 weeks, Land O’Frost will choose 21 winners at random: one $1,000 grand-prize winner, five $500 first-prize winners, and 15 $100 second-prize winners. The total prize value totals $5,000 every week for 10 weeks, or $50,000 throughout the summer. The first drawing is slated to occur on Monday, July 26, with the entry period lasting until the last drawing on Monday, Sept. 27.

No purchase is necessary for consumers to take part in the drawings. As well as Mother’s and Father’s Days promotions and www.LandOMoms.com, the manufacturer rolled out www.Twitter.com/LandOFrost and www.Facebook.com/LandOFrost this year as a part of a broader consumer branding campaign.
