Kroger Making 'Noticeable Changes' at Scott's Stores
FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Changes are becoming noticeable of late at Scott's 18 stores here in northeast Indiana following Kroger's acquisition of the former Supervalu subsidiary in April.
While the 18 locations are in the process of becoming "Kroger-fied" with new brands and front-end systems, the stores have adopted the Cincinnati-based chain's "Plus Card" program and will retain the Scott's name, according to local press reports.
Kroger is expected to have all the Scott's stores fully converted by the end of the month.
