Kroger Expands Use of Elogex Web-Based Logistics Solution
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Kroger Co. has signed a multi-year, enterprise-wide agreement with Charlotte, N.C.-based Elogex Inc. to expand its use of the Elogex OneNetwork. Kroger has been using the system for the past year across select distribution centers and will now extend the solution to support the entire company.
Kroger went live with the Elogex OneNetwork, a web-based platform to manage logistics planning and execution, in less than 90 days and quickly generated process improvements and bottom-line results that encouraged the company to implement across its enterprise. Kroger is also implementing automated online appointment scheduling in order to reduce time and costs associated with the order shipment lifecycle.
