Kraft, Polly-O Provide Fun at Six Flags

Kraft Foods and Polly-O String Cheese and Twists have joined forces with Six Flags to offer families huge savings when they visit the popular theme parks this summer.

Through Aug. 31, families bringing specially marked package wrappers of Polly-O and Kraft String Cheese and Twists to a participating Six Flags park will receive a discount. Polly-O packages are good for one Free Kids Ticket (under 10 years old) with the purchase of a general admission ticket on weekdays (up to a $34.99 value) or $15 off general admission any day, while Kraft packages are good for $15 off general admission any day.

“We know families are looking for more value, and it’s great that Kraft and Polly-O customers can enjoy a memorable day at Six Flags with a special price with this fun promotion,” said Chris Urban, brand manager for Northfield, Ill.-based Kraft.

As well as the on-pack discount, the brands have launched an integrated marketing campaign inside the parks that gives consumers a chance to win prizes through a national sweepstakes.

Kraft and Polly-O have branded Six Flags family-targeted “twisting” roller coasters at participating parks across the United States, in addition to running branded advertising on the Six Flags Media Networks, including commercials on Six Flags TV, the theme parks’ out-of-home television network.

The sweepstakes will enable one family at each of the participating parks to win 21-day general-admission tickets to the local park of their choice. Consumers can enter online at sixflags.com/twistedsweeps through June 30.

“This is an innovative promotion that provides great exposure for the brands with our in-park media assets, and certainly great value for moms and families with savings at our parks,” noted David McKillips, SVP-corporate alliances at Grand Prairie, Texas-based Six Flags Entertainment Corp.

Kraft is also teaming with Trenton, N.J.-based international upcycling and recycling company TerraCycle to upcycle all of the Kraft and Polly-O packaging wrappers collected at Six Flags parks into useful products while saving waste from landfills.
