Kmart Makes Executive Appointments

TROY, Mich. -- Kmart Holding Corp. has named Bruce Johnson, Janet Kelly, and Lisa Schultz as new senior vice presidents.

Each of the mass merchant retailer's new senior-level executives arrives at the company from some of the world's most recognizable firms.

Johnson, who will join the company as s.v.p. of supply chain and operations, was previously director of organization and systems, and a management committee member for retailer Carrefour S.A.

Kelly, who will join the company as chief administrative officer, was previously e.v.p. of corporate development and administration, general counsel, and secretary at Kellogg Co.

Schultz will assume the newly created role of chief creative officer. She was previously e.v.p. of product development and design at Gap, Inc.

Nasdaq shares of Kmart Holding Corp. closed Friday at $30.67, up $1.23, or 4.2 percent.
