Jewel-Osco Backing 'Shamrocks for Kids'
Jewel-Osco is once again asking Chicagoans to support a solution for kids in crisis by taking part in Mercy Home for Boys & Girls' "Shamrocks for Kids" initiative. The annual St. Patrick's Day-themed awareness and fundraising campaign supports a safe home for abused, neglected and troubled young people.
The effort also includes a partnership with several major CPG brands, including Kellogg's Special K, Edy's Ice Cream, Kimberly-Clark's Kleenex and Huggies products, and Wrigley's Orbit gum, which will donate 10 cents from each of the named items sold at participating Jewel-Osco stores directly to Mercy Home for Boys & Girls.
Shoppers using their Jewel-Osco Preferred Card will be automatically entered into the Shamrocks for Kids Family Vacation Sweepstakes to Ireland, which includes round-trip main cabin air transportation for four, courtesy of American Airlines, and four nights' hotel accommodations, courtesy of the Cork County Tourism Board.
