IPC Signs on for 6-year College Football Sponsorship

Starting this season, the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) is the official sponsor of the Boise State University (BSU) and University of Idaho (UI) football teams, respectively known as the Broncos and the Vandals. During the six-year sponsorship, Idaho potatoes will be the “official team tater” and maintain a significant presence at both Bronco Stadium and Kibbie Dome. Additionally, the Eagle-based IPC will serve as the major sponsor of the BSU vs. UI football game slated for Nov. 12 at the Kibbie Dome.

Under the sponsorship agreement, Idaho potatoes will receive prominent play through on-field signage and full-page ad space in both teams' official programs. When scheduling doesn’t allow the two teams to play in a given season, the commission will sponsor one marquee game in each stadium. In any case, the IPC will continue to support both teams via radio and television advertising, as well as promotional giveaways across the state.

“We are kicking off the IPC's new fiscal year and annual potato harvest with one of the biggest and most exciting partnerships in the commission’s history -- a six-year sponsorship of two outstanding Idaho football teams, the Broncos and the Vandals,” noted IPC president and CEO Frank Muir. “The IPC has been a long-time supporter of both organizations, and we wish both teams outstanding seasons.”
