Ingles Markets' Real Estate V.P. Retires
ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Ingles Markets Inc. said Friday that its v.p. of real estate, Gordon S. Myers, is retiring effective Sept. 24. Myers has been employed by Ingles since 1993.
"We wish the best for Mr. Myers in his retirement. He has been an asset to our company and his services will be missed," said c.e.o. Robert P. Ingle in a statement.
Ingles Markets operates 198 supermarkets in six southeastern states. In conjunction with its supermarket operations, the company also operates 74 neighborhood shopping centers, all but 17 of which contain an Ingles supermarket.
