Industry Vet Nominated as Director of E-Commerce Company

AURORA, Colo. - In Store Media Systems Inc., a business-to-business Internet solutions provider for the coupon industry, announced on Monday that John Watkins, executive vice president of new business development for Acosta Sales and Marketing Inc., has been nominated by the ISMS Board of Directors to become a director, subject to shareholder approval at the ISMS Annual Shareholder meeting on October 24, 2001.

Watkins possesses expertise in the retail food industry spanning more than 30 years. His career began at Publix Supermarkets where he served six years and advanced to a management position in store operations. Watkins then joined Albertson's Inc. and served three years in the role of overall store supervision. In addition to his in-depth retail experience, John also served seven years with Procter & Gamble in a variety of management positions.

Watkins joined Acosta Sales and Marketing Inc. 17 years ago, and has been an integral part of the company's rapid growth as it became the leading national sales and marketing company. During his tenure, John has served as director of sales operations and as executive vice president of corporate sales and marketing. Currently, Watkins is Acosta's executive vice president of new business development, both nationally and internationally.
