Imagination Farms Continues Success With Disney Garden Summer Fruits
In anticipation of the upcoming summer season, Imagination Farms is adding two new suppliers, SGS and Dayka & Hackett, LLC, to provide stone fruit and grapes for Disney Garden’s expanding offerings. In addition, the suppliers will also roll out new promotions and branded packaging to keep the Disney Garden product line exciting for consumers.
“During the past three seasons, we have experienced incremental growth in our stone fruit program,” said Don Goodwin, COO of Indianapolis-based Imagination Farms, who reminds retailers to look for traditional bulk stone fruit items, as well as some new 2# mesh bag items from SGS and Dayka & Hackett.
In 2006, The Walt Disney Co. introduced nutritious food guidelines limiting the use of the Disney name and its characters to only those kid-focused products that meet specific limits on calories, fat, saturated fat and sugar. The Disney Garden product line is part of Disney’s extensive food portfolio, which today offers nutritious options in key meal categories including fresh produce, bread, pasta, dairy and baked goods.
