IDDBA Names 2014-15 Board of Directors
The International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association (IDDBA) elected its slate of 2014-15 officers and board of directors at its annual business meeting, held recently in Chicago, Ill.
David Leonhardi, director of tradeshows, tours and events for the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board Inc., was named the association’s chairman of the board. He has served on the board of directors since 2002.
William G. Klump, chief marketing officer, Butterball LLC, continues to serve on the board of directors as past chairman.
Other new officers include EVP — John Cheesman, VP sales, Corp. Accts., Maplehurst Bakeries LLC; vice chairman — Jewel Hunt, group VP pharmacy, health & wellness, Safeway Inc.; and Treasurer — Erik Waterkotte, director of sales, John Morrell Food Group.
Industry leaders elected to serve three-year terms on the IDDBA board of directors are Gaetano Auricchio, VP of sales & marketing, BelGioioso Cheese Inc.; Craig Drefcinski, director – Kroger Team, Hormel Foods Corp.; David Leonhardi, director of tradeshows, tours and events for the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board Inc.; Peter Sirgy, EVP of sales & marketing, Reser’s Fine Foods Inc.; Philippe Surget, president retail division, Lactalis American Group Inc.; Erik Waterkotte, director of sales, John Morrell Food Group; and John Wellenzohn, VP sales, Bakery and Deli Divison, Rich Products Corp.
Other Board members continuing to serve are Jim Antrup, Dawn Food Products Inc.; John Cheesman, Maplehurst Bakeries LLC; Linda Duwve, Emmi Roth USA Inc.; Rick Findlay, Whole Foods Market Inc.; Glenn E.
