Hy-Vee Food Stores Deploys Mobile App

Regional independent Hy-Vee Food Stores has deployed a mobile application developed to save shoppers time and frustration by helping them find what they are looking for in-store.

The grocer is leveraged St. Louis-based aisle411’s application interface (API) and software development kit (SDK) to create a customized application that features retail navigation technology, a context aware product recommendation engine, and advertising server. On top of this, aisle411’s proprietary platform takes in-store inventory data and floor maps, and makes them searchable and interactive via a mobile app.

“As consumers embrace mobile technology to expedite their daily tasks, major retailers are embedding aisle411’s in-store shopping platform into their apps,” said Nathan Pettyjohn, CEO, aisle411.

aisle411 provides an in-store search and navigation solution for consumers via mobile technologies with support for iPhone and Android.
