Heinen's Taps MyWebGrocer for New Web Site, Interactive Marketing
WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Heinen's Fine Foods here has tapped MyWebGrocer to redesign and host its Web site.
Long known for quality wines and beers, house-baked goods, and chef-prepared foods, the grocer now has an online destination featuring an interactive weekly circular, recipe of the day functionality, online shopping lists, and comprehensive e-mail services, said MyWebGrocer.
The grocer’s new menu of Internet-based services is also designed to allow the 17-store retailer to communicate with specific customers about offers, sales, and events such as wine and cheese tastings.
“Establishing an online brand that mirrors what consumers have come to expect in stores is a key goal for Heinen's,” said Louis Penny, Heinen's IT director. Penny said the new Web site will also “incorporate key functionality that will continue to differentiate us in the market."
