HEB Sponsors Hispanic Festival Honoring Women
H.E. Butt Grocery Co., based in San Antonio, is once again the title sponsor of this year's La Feria de la Mujer y la Familia 2008 (Women and Family Festival 2008), a celebration for Hispanic women, their families, and friends, being held March 16 in downtown Houston.
"HEB is part of [the] rich history of Texas and is proud to serve as the title sponsor of La Feria de la Mujer y la Familia for the 5th year in a row," said James Harris, director of supplier diversity for the retailer, in a statement. "HEB is committed to supporting the Houston community and is excited to partner with Univision Radio to celebrate the Hispanic community in Houston."
La Feria de la Mujer y la Familia features vendor exhibits and children's activities, including cooking demonstrations and celebrity entertainment. Well-known Hispanic speakers will present a variety of topics of interest to Hispanic women and their families, including health and fitness; home and garden; fashion and beauty; career and education; art and literature; and financial advice.
One $100 HEB Grocery Co. gift certificate will be given away to one lucky winner by raffle every 10 minutes throughout the event.
