Harris Teeter Offering Exclusive Discounts at Amelia Island
Harris Teeter and the Amelia Island Convention & Visitors’ Bureau (CVB) are continuing their partnership with exclusive money-saving offers for VIC (Very Important Customer) cardholders.
Now through Dec. 31, Harris Teeter’s VIC cardholders will receive discounts at 20 Amelia Island businesses, including accommodations, activities and shopping.
“Harris Teeter has proven to be a tremendous promotional partner for Amelia Island tourism,” said Gil Langley, president and CEO of the Amelia Island CVB. “These new discounts are a great way to extend our partnership to offer Harris Teeter customers huge value at many of Amelia’s most popular businesses.”
The Amelia Island and Harris Teeter partnership began in January 2010 with a three-month-long travel sweepstakes that ended with one Harris Teeter e-VIC subscriber winning a six-night vacation to Amelia. The current discounts for Harris Teeter VIC cardholders are available only to customers who have their cards present at checkout. With accommodation discounts, customers must mention the Harris Teeter deal when making reservations.
A subsidiary of Ruddick Corp., Matthews, N.C.-based Harris Teeter operates 197 stores in North and South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Maryland, Delaware, Florida and the District of Columbia.
