Harris Teeter Hopes for Signature Sub ‘Hit’

Harris Teeter will play host to Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis on Dec. 11 at the grocer’s Morrocroft Village location in Charlotte, N.C., where Davis will help debut his personally designed Signature Sub Sandwich, “The Big Hit,” from noon to 1 p.m., as well as sign autographs.

For $3.99, customers get Black Forest turkey, Genoa salami, pepperoni and white American cheese layered with lettuce, tomato, pickles and banana peppers, topped with mayonnaise, yellow mustard, oil and vinegar, and a dash of pepper, on a white sub roll. A $4.99 lunch pack consists of The Big Hit sub, Harris Teeter Tea or Lemonade and shoppers’ choice of one Chocolate Chunk, Macadamia Nut, Oatmeal Raisin or Cranberry Nut Cookie.

The sandwich will be sold in the Fresh Foods Market Sandwich Shop in all Charlotte-area Harris Teeter stores. Panthers fans should expect more Signature Sub Sandwiches from players in the near future, and also can pick up team merchandise at the store.
