H-E-B to Implement Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse
DAYTON, Ohio - Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation, on Tuesday announced that H-E-B, one of the United States' largest independently owned food retailers, has signed a deal for an enterprise data warehouse, the Teradata Retail Decisions business-intelligence software solution and professional services.
"H-E-B selected Teradata for its functionality and scalability along with the tools they are able to provide," said Don Beaver, chief information officer for H-E-B. "These tools will give us readily accessible information and drive improved decision making across our business." The new Teradata system will replace existing data-warehousing and decision-support platforms and enable H-E-B to access and analyze detailed data.
