Gore to Keynote All Things Organic Show

GREENFIELD, Mass. -- Former vice president Al Gore is scheduled to serve as the opening keynote speaker for the All Things Organic Conference and Trade Show, held this year May 5 to May 8 at Chicago's McCormick Place by the Organic Trade Association here, in partnership with Diversified Business Communications.

Now author, activist, and technological booster who recently received a mountain of publicity for his book on global warming, "An Inconvenient Truth," and the film based on it, Gore is expected to speak on environmental and technology issues and their impact on life and business.

Gore's keynote address will be a ticketed event. Those interested in attending should visit www.organicexpo.com for more information on ticket availability as details are confirmed.

This year the All Things Organic Conference and Trade Show will be co-located with the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) Show, Spring Fancy Food Show, United Fresh Marketplace, and the U.S. Food Export Showcase.

All Things Organic is the only conference and trade show in North America focusing exclusively on the organic trade industry.

A membership-based business association, the OTA focuses on the organic business community in North America. The association's 1,600 members include farmers, processors, importers, exporters, distributors, retailers, and certifiers.
