Made from slow-roasted whole almonds, tangy fruits and toasted whole grains, and containing no artificial ingredients, colors or flavors, the new treats feature a special Mars deep-chocolate recipe providing 200 milligrams of bio-available cocoa flavanols — phytonutrients linked to healthy circulation — per 150-calorie four-square serving. Available exclusively in Boulder in three flavors, Very Cranberry, Almonds & Berries, and Roasted Nuts & Grains, the product line will expand to Denver next month, according to Hackettstown, N.J.-based Mars.
