Golden Archway

After the company that used to own Archway® cookies declared bankruptcy last October, the Ashland, Ohio, bakery where the product is made shut down for a brief time. Since Archway’s acquisition by Charlotte, N.C.-based snack and cookie maker Lance, Inc. in December 2008, however, operations at the facility have resumed, and the freshly baked, uniquely shaped assortment will once again be widely available on store shelves in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Midwest and South Central United States. Consisting of such classic varieties as Iced Oatmeal, Frosty Lemon, Gingersnap, Soft Sugar Drop, and several sugar-free offerings, the product line retails for about $2.99 per 8- to 9.5-ounce tray and $3.49 for a 14-ounce bag. Holiday Cookie favorites are expected to roll out in November. For further information, visit www.ArchwayCookies.com.
