The new line of green teas from Celestial Seasonings, a brand of the Melville, N.Y.-based based Hain Celestial Group, offers a solution to green tea’s famously bitter flavor, which prevents many consumers from taking advantage of its antioxidant benefits. Boulder, Colo.-based Celestial Seasonings came up with the idea of blending in Bai Mu Dan white tea for a smoother-tasting product. Varieties include Goji Berry Pomegranate Green Tea, Raspberry Gardens Green Tea, Blueberry Breeze Green Tea, Authentic Green Tea and Decaf Green Tea. Presented in 20-count containers resembling traditional Chinese black lacquer boxes with depictions of symbolic Asian characters and traditional words of wisdom, the tea line retails for a suggested $2.99 per package.
