Glorioso’s Fetes Flagship's Second Anniversary

Glorioso’s Italian Market, an award-winning specialty food retailer in Milwaukee, celebrates its second year at its Brady Street flagship store on Dec. 2.

Special throwback pricing on a variety of items will be in effect, along with complimentary cake and opportunities to visit with the family members. The featured special of the day will be $2 off per pound for the retailer’s award-winning meatballs.

The updated Glorioso’s, a Progressive Grocer Store of the Month, features guest chef visits, culinary education and special food and beverage events throughout the year. Specialty events include wine and food tasting, Wisconsin beer and cheese tasting and other educational events.

The family-owned retailer, which is approaching its 67th year in business, recently launched an updated website where customers can purchase products and gifts online.

Next year, the Milwaukee-based specialty food retailer plans to expand its catering business and add a culinary center to the old location, which is also on Brady Street.

Glorioso’s offers Italian and specialty gourmet groceries along with a full-service deli counter serving made-to-order sandwiches, pastas and pizza. Fresh Italian sausages are crafted on-site daily. Coffee, gelato and a variety of baked treats are available in the bakery-café. Indoor and seasonal outdoor seating are available as well.
