GlobalNetXchange Expands Management Team, Names COO and CFO

GlobalNetXchange (GNX), the leading global business-to-business online marketplace for the retail industry, on Monday announced the appointment of Antoine Leloup as chief operating officer. The company also announced that Thomas Storck has been named chief financial officer, having served as vice president of finance and controller since joining GNX in February 2000.

At GNX, Leloup will oversee the product management, customer experience and technology groups. With more than 12 years of global retail experience, Leloup joins GNX from the PPR Group, where he held several executive management positions in Europe and Asia.

"The high volume of transactions and new product introductions at GNX have made the role of operations more critical than ever," said Joe Laughlin, CEO of GNX. "Antoine's excellent track record managing all aspects of a global business and extensive knowledge of the retail industry position him well to help drive the company's growth through management of day-to-day operations."

In his role as CFO for GNX, Storck will continue to lead the development and management of all financial operations, from business planning to daily analysis. Storck joined GNX from Duesseldorf, Germany-based Metro AG, where he most recently served as VP of controlling and business analysis at Metro AG's retail chain division.

"Thomas has been instrumental in bringing structure and discipline to GNX as we evolved from a start-up organization to the leading operational marketplace for the retail industry," said Joe Laughlin, CEO of GNX. "I commend Thomas for helping us achieve GNX sales growth and new product development targets while maintaining our excellent financial position."
