Giant-Carlisle Hires Nutritionist for Camp Hill, Pa. Store
CARLISLE, Pa. -- Giant Food Stores, LLC here said it has hired Sylvia E. McDonald, M.Ed., R.D., L.D.N., as a full time in-store nutritionist at its Giant Super Food Store in Camp Hill, Pa. McDonald will be available for one-on-one nutrition consultations by appointment, and teach health-related classes at the location.
With over 25 years of experience in the nutrition field, McDonald previously was an adjunct lecturer at Harrisburg Area Community College. Before that she handled dietetics and nutrition services at long-term care facilities and medical centers, among them the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg, York County Nursing Home, and Lee Campus Memorial Medical Center. McDonald also has extensive expertise in teaching nutrition classes and holding healthy food demonstrations to a range of community groups.
