Giant-Carlisle Appoints First Director of Health and Wellness
CARLISLE, Pa. -- Giant Food Stores, LLC here has promoted Beth Holmes to the newly created position of director of health and wellness. Holmes formerly held the position of manager of health and wellness.
In her new role Holmes will create marketing plans to promote health-and-wellness products, information, and services while developing relationships with health-related organizations in the communities served by Giant serves. She will report to v.p. of advertising and marketing Denny Hopkins.
Before joining Giant, Holmes was the corporate and foundation relations manager for Harrisburg, Pa.-based PinnacleHealth System.
Giant Food Stores, one of six retail-operating companies under Ahold USA, currently operates 103 stores as Giant Food Stores, 119 stores as Tops Markets, and 25 stores as Martin's Food Markets. With almost 40,000 associates, Giant serves a six-state market area.
