Fujitsu Names New VP, Sales, Client Management

FRISCO, Texas - In-store technology vendor Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc. yesterday said it promoted Bruce Kopp to v.p. of sales and client management charged with leading Fujitsu's sales team in generating market demand for the company's retail technology offerings.

Kopp now reports directly to Ed Soladay, c.o.o. "In his first year with Fujitsu, Bruce has demonstrated strong leadership abilities and a deep knowledge of retailers' technology needs and objectives," said Soladay. "Bruce's proven sales results and industry experience make him a great fit to lead our sales and client management operations, where he will play an instrumental role as we continue to gain market share in the retail industry."

Kopp previously held the role of v.p. of territory sales for Fujitsu. Prior to joining the company, he was an executive of the Retail Strategy team for IBM Americas. He has more than 23 years of sales and management experience in the industry, and was responsible for development and delivery of IBM's Retail Store Strategy to customers and internal sales teams.

Kopp has a master's degree in business administration from Babson College in Wellesley, Mass. and a bachelor's degree in economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta.
