‘Fruitfull’ Campaign Salutes Fallen Heroes

Happy & Healthy (H&H) Products, a Boca Raton, Fla.-based manufacturer of all-natural Fruitfull Frozen Fruit Bars, has launched the “Happy & Healthy Hero Campaign” to pay homage to America’s lost fire and police department members, with contributions going to Fallen Hero Fund in several communities. The fund helps support the families of fallen law enforcement officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty.

“For the past decade on every Sept. 11, our corporate staff has supported the men and women serving our communities by hand-delivering products to fire and police stations in the south Florida area, and we have encouraged our franchisees to do the same the markets they serve,” said H&H president Linda Kamm. “To commemorate the 10th anniversary of an event that changed our country, brought us together and showcased what being an everyday hero truly meant, we expanded the campaign to rally healthy-snack enthusiasts to join us to honor the great work that ‘Happy & Healthy Heroes’ do every single day.”

Running through Sept. 11, the campaign gives consumers two ways to pay tribute to these local heroes:

• For every Fruitfull Frozen Fruit Bar bought during the campaign, H&H will contribute a portion of its sales to the campaign’s fundraising grand total. At the end of the initiative, proceeds will be distributed to the Fallen Hero Fund in the markets in which Fruitfull is sold.
• Consumers from across the United States can nominate local heroes who changed their lives for the National Happy & Healthy Hero of the Year Award. Nominees can be from any profession, and the national winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize. To nominate their heroes, consumers can visit H&H’s Facebook account at www.facebook.com/fruitfull. Nominations must be submitted by Sept. 4.
