Fries Fit for a King
Burger King is taking its French fries beyond the fast-food counter with a new BK-branded product launch, in partnership with Omaha, Neb.-based ConAgra Foods, via a licensing agreement with ConAgra’s Lamb Weston brand. King Krinkz “seasoned, crinkle-cut fries” will hit shelves this month, with an extra-large version, King Kolossalz, and King Wedgez, to arrive in stores in the coming months, according to Miami-based Burger King. Like the BK portable Frypod container (which lets consumers snack on French fries in their cars), the new microwavable French fries will come in a similar container with an easy-to-open top. The product retails for $1.49 per 4.5-ounce box. For more information, visit www.conagrafoods.com.
