Frieda's Unveils New Season of 'Specialty Produce 101'

Frieda’s Specialty Produce has debuted the new season of "Specialty Produce 101," the company's monthly YouTube video series.

Featuring Alex Jackson, account manager and daughter of President/CEO Karen Caplan, the videos offer usage tips, interesting facts and recipe ideas highlighting the latest in specialty produce.  

“With marketing trends leaning more toward mobile, it is important to us that we have easy to access, short videos for shoppers to watch on the fly,” Caplan said.

Frieda's most recent videos highlight Sunchokes, Pepino Melon and Fennel. Retailers can subscribe online.

Los Alamitos, Calif.-based Frieda's has introduced more than 200 specialty items to U.S. produce departments, including Kiwifruit, Spaghetti Squash, Habanero Peppers, Black Garlic, Sunchokes and Stokes Purple Sweet Potato, among others.
