FreshDirect Offers Easter, Passover Selections
Online grocer FreshDirect is offering chef-prepared spring holiday meals that are made fresh daily and delivered to shoppers’ doors for just $12 and up. Customers can choose from a wide selection of main courses, side dishes and desserts, all of which come with easy heat-and-eat instructions.
For Passover, FreshDirect has such traditional favorites as matzo ball soup and coconut macaroons, as well as entrees such as lemon-dill salmon and beef brisket with gravy, side dishes like cauliflower florets and lemon-caper vinaigrette, fresh berry trifle for dessert, and an assortment of kosher wines. According to the grocer, there are more than 50 new kosher for Passover items available on its website, a 20 percent increase from last year. Additionally, FreshDirect is giving shoppers up to 27 percent savings off a la carte items with chef-prepared Passover meals.
Beginning March 31, FreshDirect customers can take advantage of advance orders to reserve an Easter meal for easy home delivery next month. The grocer will feature 10 Easter meals, including Boar’s Head spiral sliced boneless ham and coriander-sage cornish hens. Each meal will come with side dishes such as Brussels sprouts with onion herb butter and five new desserts, including peach pie, all discounted up to 36 percent from a la carte prices.
Further, new FreshDirect customers may save 25 percent off each of their first two orders using code PR2A.
