FreshDirect, Fortune Society Team for Turkey Giveaway

Hundreds of formerly incarcerated New Yorkers - who might otherwise go hungry this Thanksgiving - received Thanksgiving turkeys from FreshDirect at The Fortune Society earlier this week.

The Fortune Society is one of the most respected and effective prisoner reentry and alternative to incarceration agencies in the country.
 

Every year, FreshDirect donates 1,000 turkeys to charitable organizations in the New York City area. This year, The Fortune Society received 600 turkeys in total.
